These games will work on the low-end 16K ZX Spectrum model. They are necessarily small in scope due to the limited memory of the machine, but that doesn't mean they aren't fun to play!
Patrick Paddle, renowned removal expert, is the talk of the town. For his incredible speed, he has been hired as a contractor by Products-R-Us, the multinational conglomerate which, after the antics of the founder’s son, is facing insolvency and must sell off all the random tat that it has accumulated. You assume control of Patrick as he tries to tackle the monumental task of removing all the radios, go-kart tyres, teddy bears, cameras and so-on. It won’t be easy, what with the unsafe flooring, falling explosives and the leaking acid pipes. Can you prevail? Only time will tell...
With smoothly animated colour graphics, immersive sound effects and frenetic gameplay, Patrick Paddle is sure to keep you coming back for more. Watch a trailer on YouTube to see the game in action.
In this exciting action game, you control the tracer, who must trace from the left hand side of the screen to the right, without deviating from the coloured path or hitting any baddies along the way. Through the fifteen unique levels, you must contend with pacers, crawlers, floaters, all of which are conspiring to mess up your tracing. If that's not enough, the ice will make you lose control over your direction, so you've got to be careful with lining yourself up first. With colour graphics and top-speed animation, Trace It is guaranteed to flummox and frustrate for some time.
